JobDiva vs Tenzo

JobDiva and Tenzo show up in a lot of the same staffing tech stacks, but they’re not fighting for the same job. JobDiva is the system of record: the ATS/VMS holding your pipelines, submittals, and timesheets. Tenzo sits closer to the candidate and handles the screening, verification, and scheduling work JobDiva was never built to do. Most staffing firms we talk to run both rather than pick one.

Two Different Jobs

JobDiva has been one of the default staffing ATS’s for 20+ years. The platform covers a searchable resume database with patented semantic matching, job and requisition distribution, submittal tracking, a CRM for client and business development work, digital onboarding, back-office accounting through DivaFinancials, and a standalone vendor management system, DivaVMS, that lets staffing firms run as MSPs: managing supplier lists, job catalogs, and contractor timekeeping in one place. It’s specific enough to staffing that plenty of IT and professional staffing shops have never seriously looked elsewhere.

While it’s an incredible filing cabinet, it’s not able to do the actual work required once a candidate is in the database. JobDiva can find and rank resumes, including through DivaMatch AI, which scores applicants against requisitions. But scoring a resume isn’t interviewing someone, confirming who’s on the call, or getting them onto a hiring manager’s calendar. Tenzo’s AI recruiter, Morgan, picks up after JobDiva’s matching stops: interviewing shortlisted candidates, screening their answers against the role, and pushing the results back into the ATS.

But Tenzo isn’t a JobDiva replacement. It’s built to run on top of ATS/CRM platforms like JobDiva, pulling in the pipeline data that’s already there and handling the candidate-facing work JobDiva’s workflow doesn’t touch.

The Interview Itself

JobDiva handles search, matching, and pipeline tools, not conversational interviews. DivaMatch AI scores resumes against requisitions and narrows a pool before a human reviews it. But that’s a different job than evaluating how someone communicates, handles a follow-up question, or holds up under a real scenario.

Morgan conducts full voice AI interviews available 24/7 by phone, WhatsApp, video, or email, in 40+ languages. For a staffing desk, timing matters more than almost anything else: a candidate who applies at 9pm on a Friday can be fully interviewed before Monday’s client call instead of sitting in a JobDiva pipeline waiting for a recruiter to have an open slot.

Tenzo also reads resumes the way a recruiter would, not by keyword-matching against a job description. Pair that with JobDiva’s own search and requisition data, and an agency can use JobDiva to build the shortlist, then let Tenzo run the qualifying conversation at whatever volume the desk needs.

Fraud and Identity, Unaddressed

For agencies placing remote IT contractors, this is the most pressing hole to be plugged. An ATS built for pipeline and vendor management has no mechanism for candidate fraud: no visibility into who’s speaking on a call, whether a resume was written by the person submitting it, or whether a candidate’s identity checks out.

Tenzo runs fraud detection and identity verification using 40+ signals, built to catch proxy interviewing, deepfakes, and stolen identities, the fraud patterns that have become common in high-volume IT staffing and remote contractor placement.

Calendars and Live Call Support

JobDiva’s workflow tracks interviews and submittals as pipeline stages. But JobDiva doesn’t coordinate the back-and-forth of booking a candidate onto a recruiter’s calendar. Tenzo automates that step: automated interview scheduling and calendar coordination, which cuts out one of the more tedious manual tasks on a staffing desk.

When a recruiter is running a live interview, Tenzo’s Recruiter Co-Pilot takes notes and fills in scorecards, then goes further: live on the call, it prompts sharper follow-up questions in the moment, flags language that reads as biased as soon as it comes up, and keeps the conversation locked to a structured format instead of drifting off-script. JobDiva’s CRM and pipeline tools don’t offer that kind of live call support.

Mining the JobDiva Database

JobDiva’s resume database runs deep, decades of submittal history searchable through its own semantic matching engine, DivaMatch AI. But that database only works when someone goes looking in it. A recruiter has to run a new search each time, and JobDiva doesn’t proactively resurface a candidate who was screened for a different role two years ago just because a matching requisition opens up now.

Tenzo mines a company’s own ATS database, including JobDiva, for candidate rediscovery: pulling up previously screened candidates for new requisitions instead of starting sourcing from zero. Years of JobDiva submittal history stop being a static archive nobody revisits, and start working like an active sourcing channel.

Running Them Together

DivaVMS, DivaFinancials, and two decades of staffing-specific workflow depth make JobDiva a strong system of record, especially for agencies operating as MSPs with heavy timesheet and vendor management needs.

Tenzo adds what JobDiva’s workflow stops short of: interviewing, fraud detection, identity verification, and scheduling coordination. Candidate rediscovery mines years of existing history for new requisitions instead of leaving it as a searchable archive nobody revisits, and because Morgan runs around the clock in 40+ languages, the throughput ceiling that resume matching alone runs into stops being a problem.

Tenzo syncs pipeline and submittal data with JobDiva, so the two systems work off the same information instead of forcing agencies to choose.

If you’re running JobDiva today, tally how many hours a week go into screening calls, no-show follow-ups, and manually rebooking interviews. That’s the work Morgan takes over. Book a demo with Tenzo and we’ll show you how it plugs into the JobDiva setup you already have.
